Derek tells Zanjoe: You have nothing to worry about

Actor Derek Ramsay assured actor Zanjoe Marudo that he has nothing to worry about while he and actress Bea Alonzo will film some intimate scenes together for an upcoming movie.

Marudo is Alonzo’s real-life boyfriend.

In an interview, Ramsay said he and Marudo have known each other since their “Super Inggo” days and he should not be bothered by their steamy scenes at all.

“I’m buddies with Zanjoe. Nag-umpisa kami ni Zanjoe together. We did ‘Super Inggo’ so nag-umpisa kami. So I’ve known him ever since [kahit] sa [teleseryeng] ‘The Wedding' pa,’” he said.

Alonzo admitted on Tuesday that Marudo is still unaware of the sexy scenes she will do with Ramsay.

Alonzo and Ramsay have said their intimate scenes will be hotter than the scenes in the hit film "No Other Woman."

Meanwhile, both stars revealed that they are already comfortable working with each other.

“I’ve worked with Bea many times and she really made me so comfortable. She’s a big name, she’s a big star but she doesn’t act like it. She makes me feel comfortable in front of the camera,” said Ramsay.

As for Alonzo, she said: “I’m very comfortable working with Derek. Plus sa eksena hindi naman ‘yan tumatayo na isa lang, give-and-take talaga. And talagang napaka-generous na actor, ibibigay niya talaga sa ‘yo kahit na ‘di siya kita sa kamera. Ipaparamdam nya talaga sa ‘yo and I really appreciate that.”

Derek Ramsay doesn't mind being second choice after Sam

Derek Ramsay revealed he does not mind being the second choice for a role in an upcoming film with actress Bea Alonzo.

The role was originally offered to actor Sam Milby, but he turned it down since he is set to go to the United States next year to try his luck in Hollywood.

“No, not at all. You know, Sam is a great actor, but I think he's got other things that he wants to do. And since I’m second choice, I’m still going to give my 200 percent,” Ramsay told Push.com.ph.

Ramsay said he is elated to work with Alonzo again because it has been a while since they acted together in a movie.

“Yes, I was actually offered a great story. My God, tumayo yung balahibo ko when they offered it to me. It would be nice to work again with Bea on the big screen. It’s a daring role for Bea. But we’ve worked together so many times, “One More Chance,” “And I Love You So,” “Magkaribal,” so I’m very comfortable working with her,” he said.

Meanwhile, with two blockbuster movies (No Other Woman and The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin) under his belt, Ramsay said he will stick to how he has done things in the past.

“I’m a team player and let’s not forget, there are a lot of great members in the cast for both movies. I did my job. We all did our job. We work together as a team too and bring out great two films. I just want to learn and I want to work with so many good actresses and hopefully, the success would be as big,” he said.
