Nora to undergo vocal chords operation in Boston

Superstar Nora Aunor is set to leave for the United States on Thursday night.

Aunor, who has been in Manila for four months, will be going to Boston, Massachusetts to undergo an operation on her vocal chords.

Aunor lost her "golden voice" after an alleged botched cosmetic procedures in Japan in March 2010.

The singer-actress said she's hoping to regain her golden voice after the surgery.
