Journey's Arnel Pineda, wife celebrate 10th anniversary

Arnel Pineda, frontman of American rock band Journey, and his wife Cherry are celebrating their 10th anniversary today (December 23).

"Ang wife ko siya ang nakasama ko through thick and thin at lahat ng bad sides ko she brings out the best in me," Pineda said.

For their anniversary, Pineda said he will try to find the perfect time to give Cherry a diamond ring.

"Hindi ko pa nabibigay chini-tiyempuhan ko pa talaga I would like to give her something na she would cherish for a very, very long time, a diamond ring. Gusto ko oval (diamond ring) para sa kanya pero gusto niya yung bilog, I'm making her choose," he said.

Their 10th anniversary is even more special, since Cherry is now pregnant with their second child.

Pineda recently returned to Manila after doing more than 90 shows in South America and Europe as part of Journey's world tour.

Pineda said Journey will continue to have big shows next year, including one with American country group Rascal Flatts in Nashville.

By March, Pineda said Journey will start doing a three-part show in South America with bandsok - Styx, Loverboy, Foreigner and Heart.
