Jason Abalos, Ina Feleo admit romance

Jason Abalos and actress Ina Feleo revealed on Tuesday that they actually shared a romantic past.

During the press conference of their upcoming ABS-CBN television series “Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Lumayo ka man sa Akin”, the two admitted that they were romantically linked a few years ago, but things didn’t work out between them.

Asked what caused their relationship’s downfall, Abalos admitted it was partly his fault.

“Aminin ko na nung mga panahon na ‘yon andun ako sa mga panahong medyo loko-loko [ako],” he said.

“Dumating ako sa punto ng buhay ko na may trabaho ako, may ganito ako, may ganyan ako, nakakalabas ako ng kahit saan ako pumunta, pero hindi ako naging masaya,” he added.

Despite their failed relationship Abalos and Feleo both agreed that their decision to part ways was probably for the best.

“Siguro hindi nga para sa ganon. Mas okay na ganito na knowing na may something noon parang mas naging mas malalim ‘yung pagkakaintindi mo sa tao ngayon. So mas okay maging kaibigan,” Feleo explained.

Abalos and Feleo first worked together in the 2007 Cinemalaya independent entry “Endo.”

Jason admits Jewel makes him happy

Jason Abalos finally admitted that actress Jewel Mische makes him happy.

""Nandoon kami sa, siguro sa akin napaka-special niya. Sa akin wala ako sa ganitong (tamang) pag-iisip kung di dahil sa kanya. Siya yung nag-guide sa akin para gumawa ng tama, at nagsilbing ilaw sa aking daanan," Abalos told abs-cbnNEWS.com in an interview after a press conference for his newest afternoon series "Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Lumayo Ka Man Sa Akin" with Maja Salvador.

Abalos, who once described Mische as an angel, explained that she taught him to live and love life.

Asked if he and Mische are now officially a couple or if his still wooing Mische, the actor replied: "Mahirap sagutin walang label kasi. Hindi kasi ako naniniwala sa ligaw ligaw stage kumbaga kung para sa iyo boom!"

In the interview, Abalos also shared his happiness with his newest series "Lumayo Ka Man Sa Akin."

After starring in at least three afternoon series, Abalos is now being dubbed as the Prince of Daytime Drama.

For the actor, he said he's happy that people appreciate his acting talent.

"Ako nagta-trabaho lang. Kung anunan ang ibibigay nila sa aking tagline ay salamat. Kumbaga naa-appreciate nila ang trabaho ko," he said.

"Sabi nga nila iba na ang atake na ginagawa ko, kumbaga gumagawa man ako ng mature roles noon pero ngayon pa lang kumbaga mamang-mama na ang acting ko."

"Lumayo Ka Man Sa Akin" is set to premiere on January 23 (Monday) before "Maria La del Barrio."
