Vic says grandchild is biggest Christmas gift

Vic Sotto said that aside from the success of his Metro Manila Film Festival entry “Enteng ng Ina Mo” with Ai-Ai de las Alas, his newest grandchild is the biggest blessing he received this Christmas.

On Monday, actress Kristine Hermosa gave birth to a baby girl, which she and husband Oyo Sotto named Ondrea Bliss.

Oyo is Vic’s son.

“Bukod sa success ng pelikula naming ni Ai ay ‘yung aking bagong apo na talaga naming pagkaganda-ganda. Si Ondrea Bliss, anak ni Oyo at Tin. ‘Yun ang isa sa pinagpapasalamat ko,” Vic said.

Earlier, Oyo said in a statement: “Ondrea Bliss was born yesterday, December 26, through normal delivery at 11:49 p.m. Her weight is 2680 gm. Tin is okay and still recovering. She was brought to the hospital around 6 p.m. yesterday.”

In an interview with "The Buzz" last month, Hermosa said Ondrea means "strong and courageous" while Bliss means "unmeasurable joy."

She and Oyo have a 3-year-old adopted son named Quiel.
