In an interview on “Bandila,” de Guzman said this served as a challenge for him to do better in his work as an actor.
De Guzman, who started as a theater actor, found his way into the mainstream TV industry.
He said he learned a lot during the transition.
“Malaki rin po ang [adjustment]. In terms of focal power, in terms sa paggalaw. Sa teatro mas malaki po ang galaw,” he said.
De Guzman rose to fame after he starred in defunct hit series "Mula Sa Puso."
De Guzman is now the lead star of "Angelito: Batang Ama."
