Aeta singing sensation Arjohn Gilbert received an early Christmas gift as he was invited by The Black Eyed Peas' Filipino-American singer, apl.de.ap, to record an album with him.
"Sabi niya (apl.de.ap) po sa akin gagawa kami ng album," Gilbert told abs-cbnNEWS.com on Thursday.
The young singer said apl.de.ap (or Allan Pineda in real life) told him the good news after they shared the stage on Wednesday for a benefit concert at Greenbelt mall in Makati City.
"Sobrang saya po [ng concert]. Di ko po alam na ganoon kaganda ang show kasama niya. Napakabait po niya," he added.
Gilbert said Pineda also invited him to a gift-giving event for an Aeta community in Sapang Bato, Pampanga on Christmas Day.
Born in Mabalacat, Pampanga, Gilbert first shot to fame when videos of his singing went viral on video-sharing site YouTube.
