Enchong denies competition with Xian

Actor Enchong Dee said there is no competition between him and Xian Lim, his co-star in the upcoming Star Cinema movie, "The Reunion."

Dee said all is well between him and Lim.

“Wala namang kompetisyon sa aming dalawa. Sa ibang tao they look at it like that pero okay kami, cool kami,” he said in an interview with Push.com.ph.

Lim is currently one of the fast-rising stars in show business, especially after he appeared in the hit series "My Binondo Girl" with Kim Chiu.

Dee said he understands that in show business, actors are always compared with each other. But instead of focusing on rivalries, he said he’d rather think of his supporters who are always there for him.

“Hindi mo maiiwasan [ang pagkukumpara] kasi ang mga ginagawa namin parang nagkakasabay. Masaya lang kami kasi may mga sumusuporta sa amin na hindi nawawala,” he said.

Meanwhile, Dee admitted that he is still pursuing young actress Julia Montes.

The actor said he is glad that they got to spend some time together in between breaks of the recent Star Magic tour.

“Nagkasama kami sa Hawaii, konting bonding pero after that naghiwalay din kasi separate tour,” he said.

Dee also confirmed that he gave Montes something on her birthday but refused to say what it was.
