Marquez said he is excited with the prospect of a reunion of the comedy show, which also starred Richard Gomez and Carmina Villaroel -- both recent balik-Kapamilyas.
"Siguro bago magluto, kailangan nandyan ang ingredients. And ang masasabi ko is buo na ang ingredients," Marquez said at Thursday's contract signing with ABS-CBN.
"Palibhasa Lalake" debuted in 1986 with Gomez, Marquez and the late Miguel Rodriguez as boarders at the home of the drunkard Minerva (Gloria Romero) and her two daughters, played by Amy Perez and Cynthia Patag.
Villaroel later joined the cast as Gomez's younger sister.
Over the years, the growing cast of the sitcom included John Estrada, Anjo Yllana, the "Guwapings" trio of Mark Anthony Fernandez, Jomari Yllana and Eric Fructuoso and even Edu Manzano.
The sitcom ran until 1998.
