"Won't Last a Day Without You" earns P20M on 1st day


Sarah Geronimo and Gerald Anderson’s second movie, “Won’t Last a Day Without You,” earned big during its first day in cinemas nationwide.

On Thursday morning, Star Cinema Advertising and Promotions Manager Mico del Rosario posted on his official Twitter page, “Happy December! And happy sasa-gege! We made P20M yesterday for #Won'tLastADayWithoutYou!”

“Won’t Last a Day Without You” is a film about radio jockey Heidi (Geronimo), who gives love advice to radio listeners, including Andrew (Anderson).

The movie premiered last Tuesday at SM Megamall.

It received a “General Patronage” rating from the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board, and was graded “B” by the Cinema Evaluation Board.

Before "Won't Last a Day Without You," Star Cinema’s last 2 movie releases were considered record-breakers in the local film industry.

Derek Ramsay, Anne Curtis and Cristine Reyes’ “No Other Woman,” which was shown last September, earned P220 million in ticket sales.

Meanwhile, Vice Ganda’s "Praybeyt Benjamin" was hailed as the highest grossing Filipino film with P327 million.
