John Lloyd Cruz has revealed that he is still in touch with actress Shaina Magdayao despite their reported split.
When asked whether the two of them still get to talk after their emotional tell-all, wherein they revealed that their relationship is going through a rough patch, Cruz told Push.com.ph, “Oo naman, nagkakausap naman kami.”
However, Cruz refused to disclose the real score between them.
He said, “Sasabihin ko na ‘to at ige-generalize ko na din para mas madali din para sa ating lahat, ayaw ko munang magbigay ng kung anumang comment or ayaw ko munang mag-share ng kahit na anong nangyayari at pinagdadaanan namin ngayon.”
The two were even seen holding hands while posing for pictures during the civil wedding of a Star Magic road manager, according to the report.
Cruz’s upcoming movie with Angel Locsin
Meanwhile, Cruz has expressed his thrill to be working on a movie with actress Angel Locsin, his co-star in the defunct ABS-CBN television series “Imortal.”
He said he always loved working with Locsin because of her professionalism and passion for acting.
He explained, “Si Angel 'yong tipo ng tao or katrabaho na sobrang ‘di pretentious kaya napakadali niyang katrabaho. Napaka-professional, kitang-kita mo na tuwing pinapanood mo siya na masasabi mo lagi na gustong-gusto niya 'yong ginagawa niya at talagang binubuhos niya ang lahat kaya I am very happy na ganong klase ang katrabaho mo, mas dumadali, mas sumasarap.”
Also, he said, he finds the new project exciting because it has a lot of new things to offer.
“I am very excited for this movie dahil this is something new for Angel, and tema-wise, ‘yong ganitong ka-daring at ganitong tema ng rom-com ‘di ko pa naggagawa so sa ganung aspeto doon ako nae-excite din,” he said.
