Minutes after it aired it's first episode, the show landed on the list of local trending topics on Twitter. The hashtag #itsshowtime" ranked first on the list as of 12: 27 p.m..
The show was opened by its original hosts Kim Atienza, Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, Jugs Jugueta, Teddy Corpuz, Karylle, Billy Crawford and Vice Ganda.
Korean comedian Ryan Bang and young star Coleen Garcia were also introduced as the newest hosts of the show.
"We are back at gusto ko lang sabihin na we missed you Madlang Pipol," Navarro said.
"Ako excited ako to start a new habit everyday 'magandang tanghali madlang pipol," Curtis added.
True to its promise, the show's trademark talent search element will still remain as one of the noontime show’s highlights to serve as platform for Filipinos who want to showcase their talents or be simply seen on television.
Aside from the talent competition, the hosts also introduced the show's new segments and gimmicks including the Vice Ganda's videoke showdown segment called "Singing V."
The segment "Sine Mo 'To!" of Navarro and Curtis also made a comeback.
